HISTORY
Alfonso Tejada Ibérico, driven by a deep passion for the land and coffee, founded Finca Timbuyacu with a clear vision: to transform traditional farming into a sustainable, innovative experience deeply connected to nature. Located in Nueva Esperanza, San Nicolás District, Rodríguez de Mendoza Province – Amazonas, Peru, the farm has become a symbol of rural development and commitment to biodiversity.
From the very beginning, Timbuyacu set out not only to produce coffee, but to do so consciously. It adopted regenerative farming practices, encouraged soil conservation and water source protection, and promoted respect for local ecosystems. The farm has also created job opportunities for families in the area, preserving the region’s agricultural heritage with a modern and responsible approach.

Thanks to its privileged altitude, fertile soils, and balanced climate, Timbuyacu grows high-quality Arabica coffee varieties, carefully selected to adapt to local conditions. Each bean reflects the dedication of a community committed to excellence and ongoing innovation. In recent years, the farm has joined environmental certification programs and has been recognized for the quality of its profiles at regional and national events.
Finca Timbuyacu specializes in sustainable production and the commercialization of specialty coffees, focusing on traceability, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement. Its story continues to unfold with every harvest, driven by the legacy of its founder and a deep love for coffee that unites everyone who works there.
